Technique and Patience

Well it has been a while since I really sat down and focused on one piece of work, so I really hope my new artwork will begin to show some improvement in my technique.

My next pieces of works will focus on being patient and taking my time to maximise the most detail I can get. I'm not the most patient person in the world, so no doubt this will take me a while to get used to, as I have a habit of getting bored if I stay on one piece too long... so I must try and get over this, as I'm sure it will benefit my work alot. From my most recent drawing of an English Setter, I can tell the difference from this, and my older pieces of work.

Working vigorously on one area for hours, seems to have changed my technique alot too, and reminded me alot of the studies I used to do when I was at school.

So, bear with me whilst I attempt this new style of drawing, and I hope you like the outcome as much as I do!
